Recently, MAXPOWER Weishan Base witnessed a historic milestone: the grand launching ceremony for cargo hold block sections of New Energy Shipbuilding Vessel No.249 was held. A total of 18 intelligently welded steel block sections for cargo holds were hoisted and transported by a fully electric vessel to the general assembly plant at Baima River in Zoucheng. Senior management from Shandong New Energy Shipbuilding attended the event to witness this landmark achievement of cross-industry integration.

As a nationally fostered Specialized, Refined, Unique and Innovative "Little Giant" enterprise, MAXPOWER upgraded its Weishan plant with professional facilities leveraging self-developed welding technologies, officially stepping into the high-strength steel structure processing sector for shipbuilding. During the production of block sections for Vessel No.249, the technical team resolved prevalent industry challenges including multi-angle positioning welding for special-shaped cargo holds and deformation control of thick high-tensile steel plates. Strict inspections verified that all structural components fully comply with construction standards set by CCS (China Classification Society) for inland new energy vessels.

This first delivery marks the launch of substantive industrial chain strategic cooperation between the two parties. Under the signed agreement, MAXPOWER will undertake processing orders for full-range cargo holds and structural components of 30 new energy vessels throughout 2025 and 2026.
Moving forward, MAXPOWER will continuously optimize special welding techniques for marine use and expand production capacity by leveraging the industrial cluster advantages of Liuzhuang Ship Industrial Park in Weishan. Drawing on its mature engineering machinery manufacturing strengths, the company will empower the local shipbuilding sector, fill gaps in supporting industrial chains, support Jining in developing a leading northern inland manufacturing base for eco-friendly shipping vessels, and advance integrated, mutually upgraded development between equipment manufacturing and shipbuilding industries.
